I'm excited to roll out V1.0 Beta 5, a release focused on delivering a tighter narrative experience and bringing much-needed intelligence to data management.

Enhancement Spotlight: 'Concise' Narrative Style

For bookers who need an action-first match report without the extra fluff, the new 'Concise' narrative style is here.

This style is designed to mimic professional wrestling summary blogs—think Bleacher Report or CageSideSeats. It strictly limits the AI to move-by-move descriptions, eliminating all unnecessary exposition. If you prefer a summary that reads like a live commentator firing off moves, give 'Concise' a try!

Data Integrity & Weight System Overhaul

A major goal for Beta 5 was improving how our core data (especially weights) is stored and calculated.

Weights as Numbers: Wrestler weights are now stored as true integers. This change is crucial, as it allows for accurate mathematical operations within the application.

Automatic Combined Weight: Tag-team weights are now automatically calculated using the new integer data.

Custom Weight Units: You can now set your preferred unit of measure—Pounds (lb.) or Kilograms (kg.)—in the Preferences menu.

Recalculation Tool: If you need to manually refresh all combined tag-team weights, a new recalculation trigger is available in the Preferences -> Danger Zone.

Quality of Life & Stability

Prompt Review Screen: In the AI match writing assistant, you can now pause and review the full prompt being sent to the AI model before hitting submit. For speed, you can bypass this review with a single click.

Thank you for being part of the Beta community and helping refine SlamSim. Your feedback is invaluable! You can get the latest beta here.
