I have just released Publine v1.0 Alpha 4! It’s a lean, open-source publishing tool built for character-driven storytellers, indie authors, and anyone tired of bloated platforms.
What’s inside:
- Static HTML reader for browser-based viewing
- EPUB export with full TOC and metadata
- Per-chapter PDF generation via ReportLab
- Imports from HTML, DOCX, or TXT
- All exports stay neatly inside your project folder
This marks the last major feature milestone before I begin refining the UI and exploring smarter tooling through AI.
